The Meitarim Planner
Thousands of students in integrated schools will begin the new school year with the Meitarim Planner in hand – a values-based planner that addresses Jewish-Israeli events and universal dates on the calendar. Moreover, the planners include stories, activities, and information adjusted specifically for integrated education students that will enrich their school year.

The Bereshit (Genesis) Program
The new Bereshit (Genesis) program has been almost completely uploaded to Meitarim’s website. It includes ideas for puppet shows, shadow puppetry and creating the different figures to accompany the study of the book of Bereshit. In the near future, the Shemot (Exodus) program will be uploaded.

Weeping for Generations – A Book for Tisha B’Av
Before Tisha B’Av, Meitarim published a book that attempts to shed old-new light on Tisha B’Av as a national day of mourning. It tells the story of the Jewish nation throughout the generations and the various exiles, and allows a range of voices to be heard on the subject of loss and destruction and the significance of remembering them in our lives.

Looking Forward to 2021-2022

Materials for the Shmita Year
In honor of the Shmita year, Meitarim prepared a range of learning materials: “It is no dream” – a children’s book that tells the story of the first Shmita in the days of Zionism; a Shmita -themed Katan game with a new set of cards for playing Katan; worksheets with an abridged and expanded lesson plan for students in grades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9.

Meitarim Siddur (Prayer Book) for Primary School Students
Meitarim is currently working on four versions of a siddur (prayer book) that will be available to all Israelis, including Meitarim’s students and families. There will be four versions to choose from so that each school or family has the opportunity to choose the Nusach (version) that is most suitable to them: Nusach Eidot Hamizrach (Sephardic); Nusach Eidot Hamizrach, (Sephardic-Egalitarian); Nusach Ashkenaz (Ashkenazi), and Nusach Ashkenaz, (Ashkenazi-Egalitarian).
